Charm began to pursue a career in rap at the age of 16. With his late mother as his inspiration, Charm taught himself to write, record, and produce music

in the home studio she bought for him. The Oakland native is using the art of storytelling to create an original and unique sound for himself.
After Charm's 1st mixtape 'True Pain' began to circulate, he was contacted by a producer in Europe and asked to construct a song entitled "Black Christmas". He took inspiration from the Christmas bells in the song to deliver this special treat.
