Fashion designer Danielle Gardner of women’s clothing line White Petals hails from the East Bay. She is currently making her line known across the Bay Area, as she has become a familiar face in the local fashion scene. From trunk shows to networking events, Gardner is making White Petals a force to be reckoned with.

Danielle started designing at the age of 5. Her inspiration rooted from not liking the clothes that came with her Barbie dolls, and wanting to create new ones. Her grandmother was a seamstress and began teaching her the basics on creating garments. From there she was hooked. Young Gardner would make bags and accessories, and sell them to her classmates. While her items became a hit within her school, she was unconsciously stirring up an entrepreneurial mind state.

After high school, Danielle went to Europe and Asia taking classes on design and patterns to perfect her craft and also worked closely with an uncle who is a famous European tailor. Seeing that she had a natural passion for clothing, Danielle quit the jobs she was working to focus solely on design. In 2008, White Petals was born.

White Petals has a full line of tops, bottoms, dresses and outerwear. The line is catered to teen to late twenties fashion forward women. All garments have extreme attention to detail and are made carefully by San Francisco seamstresses; no factory designs. The integrity of the brand is very evident with some of the finest of fabrics used.

Polka Dots, Chiffon pieces, and Homme inspired blazers are three big trends this season that can all be found in White Petals fall collection.  In addition to being trend-worthy, each piece is made with attention to detail, and all materials, hem lengths, and widths are given in item descriptions; a seldom detail seen in online boutiques
